Advancing the Gospel Together in Georgia
Advancing the Gospel Together in Georgia. Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8 KJV The Great Commission is not a suggestion for the church—it is the command of our risen Lord. Jesus declared that all power is given unto Him, and then He charged us to go, teach, baptize, and make disciples of all nations. Acts 1:8 shows us how: through the power of the Holy Ghost, beginning in our own Jerusalem and advancing to the uttermost parts of the earth. For Bethel Crossroads, that begins right here in Georgia.
At the heart of today's message is one life-changing question:
"What is my personal role in finishing the Great Commission in my lifetime?"
This question touches every part of our Christian walk—our generosity, our evangelism, our cooperation with other churches, our calling, our stewardship, and our sense of urgency for the lost.God has placed Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church in this community, in this moment, for this mission. Georgia is our field. The nations are our calling. The Gospel is our message. And the Holy Ghost is our power. Let us advance the Gospel together—boldly, sacrificially, faithfully—until every person in Georgia has heard that Jesus saves.
What is your role in finishing the Great Commission in your lifetime?
May God help us answer that question with obedience, courage, and a renewed burden for the lost.
