Judson's Weeping Turns to Joy

Adoniram knew what it was like to suffer from depression. Shortly after he was released from prison he lost his wife and little girl Maria. This coupled with his prison experience drove him into a season of despair for years. He was a man of like passions with us. After this night of mourning God poured out His Spirit on the Burmese and a great harvest of souls came to Jesus in faith. Oh how we ought to trust God in trial! He knows the end from the beginning and Adoniram's last years in Burmah were his brightest.
