God's Cup for Us

The way many people interpret what God's will is and what's beneficial for the Kingdom is by how much prosperity or comfort they personally receive. They think that the Kingdom advances in proportion to their success in earthly affairs. However, difficulties, suffering and even 'horror' are never to be used as indicators as to whether God's will is being accomplished in our lives. God has ordained a cup for each of us to drink and the important thing to remember is that it is His cups that build the Kingdom. The Sovereign, all wise, Lord of the universe knows what the best cup is for each person and He calls upon us to drink our own cup and not to compare our cup to the cups of others.
