Hannah: An Example of Season of Affliction

In this lesson, we find the instructions given by James put into practice hundreds of years prior to this. We see that these instructions are not new and that they have stood the test of time.
Observe the Case of Hannah's afflictions. Her afflictions were compounded. She found no relief for them, not even the goodness and double portion her husband gave her did not alleviate her affliction. It was not until she went to pour out her heart and soul before the Lord that her afflictions were turned to joy. Is any among you afflicted?
