If God is Good, Why are Bad Things Happening to Me?

In states of spiritual, moral, mental and physical exhaustion we are extremely vulnerable to sin. Weariness is an occasion for the devil. If you are tired, weary, failing or faltering - be warned - the devil probes us through weakness. Our understanding of the meaning of life should not derive from our observations of life, especially not from the observations of the wicked. Nor should our understanding of life evolve from our observation of ourselves. Rather, our understanding of the meaning of life must derive from our contemplation of God and His word and in this we must trust no matter what circumstances befall us. Your faith must transcend your experience.
