Believing in God Through Cancer
Do you ever worry about anything? What causes that? Is it unbelief?
Romans 5:10, “For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.”
The “shall be” is present tense with future action.
In the modern church today, we practice a little religion then take up our cares & worries as we leave.
We don’t have to be in bondage of worry; we can have peace with God and in the power of God.
The secret of the Christian life: in order to live in God’s peace, accept the will of God.
Bro. Mott’s recent diagnosis of cancer was the greatest blessing to him because it brought him to
the realm of being at peace with God’s will, at peace in God’s presence.
We must die to our will in order to accept His will.
Bro. Grover commented, “I am my own worst enemy! God is too faithful, too good, and too holy to not do what He has promised to do for us.”
