God's 300

The Battle of Thermopylae is one of history's great battles of bravery, skill and sacrifice. This battle is renowned for King Leonidas and the 300 Spartans who fought a massive invading force from Persia at the narrow coastal pass of Thermopylae. A very similar battle is recorded in Judges 7, the Battle of Valley of Moreh. In this battle God reduced Gideon's army from 32,000 to 300 valiant men to battle a massive invading army. These 300 did not simply delay the invading army - they defeated it and drove it from their borders.
