Brother Chris Mills brings us into the second chapter of Peter's first epistle where we see the reality and necessity of putting aside- literally taking off, doing away with- our former sins, and seeking to kill it, destroy that which seeks to destroy us. That these sins are in particular, those that hinder growth and fellowship in CHRIST amongst brethren, and thus, our maturing in unity. All of this is only possible by the longing, loving, and continuously wanting the word of GOD to feed us that which we need to be more CHRIST-like.
