Consider Jesus (Hebrews 3:1-6): From a Jew to a Jew

Connection: "therefore" – The "Therefore" connects Hebrews 3 with the text that precedes it in Hebrews 1 and 2.
Salutation: "holy brothers" – The author is speaking to 1st century Jewish Christians.
Command: "consider Jesus"
Comparison: to Moses… Moses is great, but Jesus is far greater.
Confidence: we learn how we can have confidence that we are saved
We have compared Jesus to angels. Now, let's compare him to the greatest OT prophet, Moses.
This morning, I ask you to consider Jesus.

• What His life has accomplished for the world
• And What His life means to you personally
