The Body, The Blood, & The Basin

The institution of our Lord's supper begins with Jesus breaking the bread in symbolism of his body being broken;
The cup represents His blood that was shed for the remission of sin;
and then Jesus girded himself with a towel and poured water in a basin and washed his disciples feet to remind us of our need to have daily personal cleansing.
