Christ in the Old Covenant

Jesus said that the Hebrew Scriptures "bear witness about me." (John 5:39) The covenants, the calling of Israel, the exodus, the tabernacle, the sacrifices, the priests – all of this teaches us about Jesus Christ. After His resurrection, Jesus himself began with Moses, at the beginning of the Hebrew Scriptures, and explained to them the things concerning himself in every portion. (Luke 24:27)
