Developing a Reformed Church

1 Sermon | Mar 26, 2026

What does it truly mean to be a Reformed church—not shaped by tradition, culture, or caricatures, but by the Word of God?

This series is a call to return to Scripture as the only authority for the life, doctrine, and worship of the church. In a time when many churches are driven by trends, pragmatism, and partial teaching, these lessons aim to recover a biblical mindset of the church—one rooted in the full counsel of God.

Rather than accepting common misunderstandings of the Reformed faith—such as being merely intellectual, lifeless, or disconnected from evangelism—this series defines Reformed theology as it was intended: a movement to reform the church according to Scripture alone.

Throughout this series, we explore:

What it means to be Reformed according to the Word of God, not culture
The necessity of continually returning to Scripture in every generation
The centrality of Christ as Lord and Head of the Church
The importance of sound doctrine, faithful preaching, and true worship
The role of disciplesh
