The Backstory

The Christmas story is very familiar to most of us, and yet unfortunately, many times, when things become familiar, they tend to lose the wonder and excitement of our initial response. This series is designed to provide a more detailed look at the backdrop, or backstory of the Christmas story. This story did NOT begin on the pages of the New Testament, but rather it began on the first few pages of the book of Genesis and its stage was continually developed throughout the pages of the Old Testament. Let’s take a fresh look at a very familiar story and re-capture the amazement and excitement of God’s plan throughout the history of mankind.
