This is a new class, which is aimed at drawing lessons from church history that should help us today. The class is divided into two parts: Part 1 will outline the doctrines and practices that developed within the Roman Catholic Church prior to the Reformation. Part 2 will highlight (with excellent videos) the lives of some of the key reformers whom God raised up from within the Roman Catholic Church to oppose many of those doctrines and practices. This class will provide lessons for all of us. Although we stand on the shoulders of the reformers, who sought to rediscover biblical doctrine and practice, they didn’t always agree with each other, and none of them subscribed fully to what we teach. It’s incumbent on us to learn the right lessons from their struggle and sacrifice.
