Handle Life’s Interruptions

6 Sermons | Nov 28, 2025 - Nov 29, 2025

Interruptions can be so irritating. They ignore the clock. They don’t care about our routines, our hopes for the day, or the people we’re trying to serve. They arrive without knocking, seize our attention, hijack our plans, and often drain our time, energy, and even our resources. Most of us have felt the frustration of watching a carefully planned day unravel because life simply refused to cooperate.I’ve certainly felt that way. I used to complain that I could never finish anything because I was constantly being interrupted. But recently, as I looked back over a stretch of particularly chaotic days, I realized that behind each disruption—each detour I didn’t choose—God was doing something I hadn’t seen at the time. What felt like turbulence was actually God at work in ways I didn’t expect.Interruptions come in many shapes and sizes. Some merely alter your day; others can rewrite the trajectory of your entire life. The question isn’t if we’ll face interruptions—but how we’ll respond to them.
