The Holy Spirit's Reproof

The triad of sin, righteousness, and judgement seen in John's gospel was introduced by Christ Jesus and is at the heart of the gospel message. The Holy Spirit is said to convince the world of the reality of sin, the righteousness demanded by God, and the judgement which will expose how men either fall short and are condemned or meet this righteousness through receiving the very righteousness of God as a gift.
