Advent 2024: Fulfillment

Advent, though it marks Christ's coming, is by no means the point at which God began to redeem humanity. In fact, Advent is the culmination of God's plan to redeem; the Eternal and Transcendent breaking into time and condescending to wrap Himself in humanity so that humanity might be wrapped in the Divine. Thus, Christmas is all about fulfillment. In the first two chapters of Matthew's Gospel, we see the way in which God's spoken or written words of the past have become the incarnate Word of the present. Join us, as we walk through Matthew 1-2, experiencing a truly "fulfilling Christmas" every step of the way!
