This letter from Paul is the most personal display in the ministry of Paul. It was written when ties were strained with the Corinth church which Paul loved. Paul is forced to defend his apostleship, but more importantly, to defend the gospel ministry. Gospel ministry is often connected with difficulty, but, as Paul will show, it will be worth it in glory.
