Living Free Under God's Hand

God's people are free. Free to live according to our heart's desires as those desires are formed by his desires in Scripture. Here in the book of Ruth we find that Elimelech's family freely chose to do what they thought was best. Yet God brought about what truly was best. They were living freely, yet they were never outside of the protection of God's providential hand. I would love for anxious Christians today to discover the joy of living free under God's hand.
