Informative address
Thank you for this good overall view. The address is vitally instructive for our day. The Cathars of the Middle Ages in South France, from which term the Puritans were indirectly named, (say from the Latin word 'cathar' meaning 'to purge, /cleanse', inferring by default the 'pure ones'), were often maligned by their enemies with overall accusations of heresy. Interestingly, centuries later the Puritans also have been derided in history on similar grounds for their stand against impurity or sin.
