I opened this sermon up because I simply felt the need to hear the word of God and the preaching upon it in the midst of the weariness of the day and I am so thankful that I did so as it refreshed my soul in the hearing of it. This is the first time that I have listened to this preacher, the Rev Bud Powell, and will look up other sermons by him. Not least was the closing prayer, I feel the sweet incense of Christ was in it and that went beyond the words that were spoken.

Rev. Powell does an excellent job describing the character of Caleb as he was part of the wanderings of 40 years in the desert. His strong belief in God proved to have him receive his reward as a leader for the new crowd who followed him.

I needed to understand Psalm 37 in a deeper way and this sermon series by Rev. Powell was just what I needed to hear! I also liked that Psalm 75 was referenced in relationship to Psalm 37, which provided even more information. I ended up with a much fuller understanding than I expected! Praise God! Thank you Rev. Powell!
