Great Sermon!
This lecture brought to mind an experience my husband and I had about thirty years ago, shortly before the Lord graciously brought us into the Reformed faith. We were members of a Wesleyan church where the AV was the pulpit bIble, but the individual members used a variety of different translations. This resulted in terrible confusion in the adult Bible study. Invariably the lesson itself was barely taught as each one shared his bible's translation of the text, and all endeavored to determine which translation was correct. Often this led to hurt feelings on the part of any whose version of the text was rejected. It was horrible confusion of which we know our God is not the author.
