- Keith Radouskyfrom AtlantaJun 23, 2020Great Sermon! As a Jewish believe I agree 100% with Pastor Gil in that from Genesis 12 to Acts 1 God is focused on Israel, then from Acts 2 until nearly the end of the book of Revelations God is focused on the Church. No way does the Church replace Israel. However there were many Gentiles that converted to Judaism when God was focused on Israel and a fair number of Jews, like myself, have come to Christ in the past 2000 years when God while God has been focused on the Church. All comes together at the end. Evidence of this can be found in Revelation 21 vs 12-14. Blessings, Keith
- Jennifer Masonfrom MemphisApr 18, 2019Great Sermon!I thoroughly agree with you Dr. Rugh, Babylon is Babylon. Peter had no reason to fall into deception in order to throw the Roman government off, Peter understood the price he had to pay in order to follow the Lord. Besides all that, on the day of Pentecost, there were Jews who were dwellers of Mesopotamia, (I believe is, Babylon) who were born who heard the believers speaking in their own tongues. Acts 2:9. What a vast difference from the Tower of Babel incident!
- Jennifer Masonfrom MemphisMar 20, 2019Great Sermon!Thank you so much Minister Rugh, your explanation concerning Revelation 17 is unmatchable. I’ve listened and studied with many, but somehow when you’d explain about verses 8-12 of chapter 17, the Holy Spirit opened up my understanding. God bless you brother and may he continue to crown your head with much wisdom in His Word.
- Jennifer Masonfrom MemphisMar 17, 2019Great Sermon!Minister Rugh I thank God for your wonderful word of wisdom and knowledge in His Word. I wish I’d found your ministry long ago, especially since we are living in apostate times where the Word Of God is scarce.

- Charlene Fountainfrom North Central ARSep 3, 2016Great Sermon!Pastor Rugh, A special thank you to you and to your church for providing your messages. This is a wonderful message for everyone to hear. It is special guidance for those of us who are born again believers.
- Wayfarer Pilgrimfrom Lubbock,txAug 4, 2016Great Sermon!Thank you, Dr.Rugh, The development of holiness, or the revulsion of our own indwelling sin, is a war we were enlisted when we were saved. Setting aside the bible as our guide, no longer praying always in the spirit has developed an creature that shrugs their shoulders and accepts their sin as who God made is an anathema. Good bless
- Jim Lincolnfrom NebraskaOct 29, 2015Abraham, then Isaac, then...Genesis 17:18 Abraham said to God, “Oh that Ishmael might live before you!” 19 God said, “No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him. 20 As for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He will become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But my covenant I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year.” ¶ I would suggest, Liberty, you look at at the above verses, should be an answer to your question. ¶ Like everyone Abram or as he was called later Abraham had Noah as his father like everyone on earth has him as his father. ¶ Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary for Genesis 10:5---" the isles of the Gentiles—a phrase by which the Hebrews described all countries which were accessible by sea (Isa 11:11,20:6,Jer 25:22). Such in relation to them were the countries of Europe, the peninsula of Lesser Asia, and the region lying on the east of the Euxine. Accordingly, it was in these quarters the early descendants of Japheth had their settlements."
- Jim Lincolnfrom NebraskaSep 25, 2015God is the only fair Haven! Part 2Unofficial Brief ¶ Paul, Luke, Aristarchus, and the centurion Julius (All of whom Dr. Rugh looked at in some detail.) had a very difficult sea journey described in Chapter 27 of Acts. Sometimes life has smooth sailing but Paul didn't have that this time. Paul had been a prisoner for years and his life was put in extreme danger during this sea journey. This journey carried on God's plan for Paul. The sovereign hand of God is seen in this journey. The Alexandrian ship which they were on was completely destroyed, but all the people on the ship were saved. ¶ Paul had warned them of the forthcoming disaster, but they sailed on. A northeast wind took control of the ship. People on the storm-tossed ship started to jettison cargo. On the third day of the storm everyone threw off all the ship's tackle. Sun and stars didn't appear for many days, they didn't know where they were. All hope of being saved was abandoned. ¶ Paul encouraged them to eat, to keep up their courage and no lives were going to be lost. Paul tells them he belongs to God, who he believes, whose providence controls everything. Believers should never doubt God. Always believe God! ¶ Acts 27:25 Therefore, sirs, cheer up! For I believe God, that it will be just as it has been spoken to me.
- Jim Lincolnfrom NebraskaAug 2, 2015Introduction to Introduction series on the FamilyUnofficial brief ¶ This is introduction in relating to the family matters. Lincoln had a proposal before the city council on expanding protection for people who had deviant sex practices. At least the evangelical pastors had a Biblical view on this ordinance, ¶ 1 Corinthians 6:9 Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God. ¶ Everyone being created by God is a child of God, physically, but Biblically, not all are the children of God. A liberal "pastor" stated that homosexuality was an acceptable behavior. The Bible is clear that this is unacceptable behavior. There are absolute truth and standards. There is a God who has revealed himself in the Bible. ¶ Jeremiah 9:24 but let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says Yahweh. ¶ Much of the so-called science is an attack on God. The Word of God isn't in conflict with the --facts-- of science.

- Jim Lincolnfrom NebraskaMay 16, 2015Men Who Commit Adultery Are Fools!Unofficial brief ¶ The bulk of this sermon tells how the Book of Proverbs, points out what a fool an adulterous man is! Proverbs is about the man passing on wisdom to his son. This (God's) wisdom is to immerse the son in his life. Man is the leader of the home not as a petty dictator but as thoughtful leader of the home but as member of society. Man is to provide, protect, and lead in the context of God's wisdom. ¶ Sin eats away on the inside, Its God's way or the miserable way. Don't reject the discipline of the Lord be a teachable man. The Wisdom of God will watch over you. ¶ One of the best types of training for a child is having them thoroughly know Proverbs. Fill their lives with it. ¶ Proverbs spend the most time about the man being faithful to his wife. A man must be devoted to his wife. Men, it's a dead-end to commit adultery. Sin makes you stupid! e.g., see Chap. 5 . ¶ Gil who talked to men who are adulterers and profess to be believers, he calls them fools! Your wife has a fool for husband. The kids have a fool for a father! Gil told a minister who wrecked his ministry because of adultery, that he was a fool. He didn't belong in the ministry, because he kept his adulteress close. ¶ While the stain of adultery can never be removed, God will forgive the sinner.
- Jim Lincolnfrom NebraskaMay 6, 2015Fathers teach your sons to work!Unofficial Brief! ¶ Remember to start with Genesis for the foundation of the roles of men and women. They are spiritual equals but they have different roles. ¶ Colossians 3:18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. ¶ 19 Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them. ¶ Being father-centered is an integral part of being a Christian family. ¶ The man is to be the provider. The Bible talks about man not to be lazy, but not about working too hard! It does talk about man's working to fulfill his greed which is wrong, but providing for the family is right. Men who don't function according to the Word of God, are fools. Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gets understanding. ¶ 14 For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies. None of the things you can desire are to be compared to her. Proverbs 15:16 Better is little, with the fear of Yahweh, than great treasure with trouble. ¶ Model and teach Proverbs to your children. Get of the treadmill for getting more, but the most important thing in life if not financial success, but living your life for God. This is what to teach your children! Warn your children of material vanity.
- R. A. M.from Savannah gaJul 12, 2014Great Sermon! Amazing clarity.Upon being saved, Jesus Christ has drawn a line in the sand between our old man who was a dutiful, powerless slave to sin and death; and our new man who has no obligation to walk in sinfulness. I kept looking at that line in the sand, praising God for his justification and forgiveness, but never believing or understanding that I now live on the "new" side of that line! How wrong it was for me to doubt or dismiss God's promise to empower me thru His Holy Spirit to be one who walks in that newness if life. If you have been saved, you are already on the new side if that line. Don't deny that power. Don't deny God's description if you as a new creature, one who has Holy Spirit power and victory. It is a done-deal. Embrace it as reality. God drew that line in my life. I kept looking at that line, I knew it was there, but I didn't realize what side I was now on as a child ofGod. I am so grateful for my justification, but now I must live to honor his promise of power over sin in the new man.
