Our system of doctrine is called the Reformed tradition. It is built upon God's primary reformers such as John Calvin, Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, and John Knox to name but a few of the leading proponents of the Protestant Reformation. But above all the Reformed tradition seeks to be faithful to the revealed will of God in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. It pulls together the most significant doctrines taught in the Bible. These doctrines are set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms.
