This sermon unpacked the usage of the word RANSOM in the O.T. law and culminated with Christ, the Ransom for our souls. Psalm 49:7 a previously unknown verse to me is a perfect text to show the need of our being bought back by our Savior, since no one else could do so.

Our church has lost two officers from our congregation this past year, one in the line of duty. The sacrifices they make and scriptures that speak to what they do are significant and this message is much needed by our society
