Great message. I hope this entire series is posted on SermonAudio. Dewey has a clear manner of speaking. I would also be interested in references (books, videos, etcetera) on this topic. As an aside, i have no issue with "Christian philosophy" but some have used "Christian thought" as a term to describe Christian philosophy in order to distance Christianity from Athens.

This was a very good sermon. The truth spoken here was very edifying. That word Jesus speaks, without me you can do nothing, is the hardest lesson to learn. The apostle Paul needed a thorn in the flesh and many afflictions to learn it. My experience is that it can only be learnt with many crosses, losses, disappointments, and many Fatherly chastisments. In this way one will bring forth the peaceable fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ.
