Thank you for this brief statement of the Confessional Text position. Our Reformed confessions would be very different documents if their authors had been using anything other than the Received Text. We can thank God for His wonderful providence in this matter.

Thank you for this clear explanation of the origin and history of the Septuagint, and why it should not be used to correct the Masoretic text or be used as the basis of translation into modern languages.

Just like Abel in Hebrews 11, though David is dead, he still speaks. By God's providence I have been introduced to this precious man of God after he went to be with the Lord. Through the limited things I have come across (this interview, a sermon, some written things), he has been a great influence on me to increase in my love for the Lord. He was "a good servant of Christ" (1 Tim. 4:6).
