What an interesting sermon topic at this time. Indeed, the revolution of evil that engulfs us is fueled in large part by the absence of this trust in Almighty God. It is for us to practice it and ask for the grace to shine the light and have the peace that only the Lord gives and that the world cannot take away.

I have always been puzzled by God command for Abraham to offer Isaac. This helps me understand how God tests our faith.

The Lord tested Abraham... The Lord will provide... The Lord will always provide when His children are tested in their lives. What a great God and gracious, loving Father we have already in this life, let alone in the eternal life to come! Praise this glorious God forever! Amen.
