By Works, Faith or Both?
In listening to sermons now for HOURS literally every day (while walking up to 6 hours at a time), I have to say that this issue is not far removed from what I hear in at least 90% of all the sermons I hear. It is very subtle but it sneaks in there, and the issue 'at times' seems to have to do with unscriptural "Progressive Sanctification' , Grace becomes works again. There is no such thing. How can a person be considered Justified but not sanctified? Contradictory. If The LORD sees us as Righteous in Him then we are Sanctified and because of that we are JUSTIFIED. There is no Justification without Sanctification It's all ETERNALLY TRUE, it just hasn't happened yet. Therein lies the problem. Christ IS our Sanctification, our Righteousness and our Justification. 1 COR 1:30 and other places: But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us Wisdom, and Righteousness, and Sanctification, and Redemption
