Evangelism Awakening

This message is greatly needed and very convicting! If we truly let this message penetrate, revival could start in our hearts — and spread like wildfire throughout our churches! Let Dr E. A. Johnston’s sermon awaken you to what God has been trying to tell you. Just what I needed to hear.

I enjoyed this message from Dr Johnston, but herein I correct myself, even as I type this. “Enjoyed” is too weak a word, as it denotes pleasure or entertainment. Rather, this message not only convicts, but causes a thirst for true righteousness, resulting in repentance and humility. As believers, we need to be in a position to receive revival in our own hearts. Not being content with the status quo, thus deceiving ourselves. Dr Johnston’s message, as in all his other messages, is born out of that desire to yearn for, pray for, but primarily “get in tune” with God for a move of the Spirit. This requires sacrifice and repentance — repentance for lack of love and fervor for the true Christ of holiness. Repentance for disregarding the Bible and for not living what we proclaim. I appreciate that Dr. Johnston referred to G. Campbell Morgan, as I rarely hear this once great man of God referenced these days. Please listen close to what this brother has to say in this message — then delve into his other ones as well!

A call to repentance. Awaken us

Listening to this message stirred something deep in my spirit. As I heard Dr. E. A. Johnston preach, I kept thinking of Jeremiah’s call: “Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths… and ye shall find rest for your souls.” That is exactly what this sermon points us back to—the old paths. Not new methods, not modern adjustments to suit culture, but the timeless truth that brings conviction, repentance, and real rest. It reminded me of the kind of preaching we saw in the days of Jonathan Edwards, when revival was not about emotion but about God moving sovereignly in hearts. There is a clear call here to righteousness, to turning back, to walking in the ways that produce lasting fruit. Scripture says that those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever. Messages like this are needed in our generation—steady, rooted, and pointing us back to the foundations that never change. Thank you for faithfully calling us to the old paths.

Wonderful Work Of God!

I have stood by for the past 2 decades and noted how the entertainment world has methodically introduced topics that were never highlighted or discussed openly in my youth become mainstream. Slowly these topics invaded our moral compass to alter our thoughts that they no are “normal”. I felt the distance from GOD. This sermon brought out some important points that we as Christians should adhere to. Especially 2 Chronicles 7:14 which is our pathway to revival not just as individuals but as a nation.

This sermon is extremely timely, and applicable to our lives individually. We do not know how long we have before facing judgment, and just like those in Noah’s generation, eventually we get our last warning and plea to repent and turn to Jesus Christ. Please listen to this with an open heart, or send it to someone you care about.

I loved this! It’s what we need!

There’s a lot to chew on with this message. Much to apply to our individual lives; confession of sin, restitution, forgiveness, and getting back on track with Christ.

This generation needs to hear that unpopular doctrine of Hell preached with seriousness, tears, and power! From children to the elderly, preach the truth of eternal judgment and the cry for repentance, in Jesus’ name!

The desire for Holy Ghost power in the pulpit, and in our daily walk, is so needed! May we pray to God for His outpouring!
