Ralph Sexton Sr.

"Pastor". He was considered by many as one of the best Evangelists of all time. Born to the late Charlie Harrison Sexton and Mary Elizabeth Shetley Sexton. He was a 1937 Graduate of Emma High School where he was valedictorian of his class. He attended Toccoa Falls Bible College in Georgia and Nyack Missionary Training Institute in Nyack, New York. He also received his Doctor of Divinity by Tabernacle Baptist College, Greenville, South Carolina on May 25, 1979. He preached for 66 years starting in the streets, rescue missions, tent meetings and then pastoring Trinity Baptist Church in Asheville, North Carolina. Throughout his ministry He did the "Daily Broadcast Radio" on WWNC through World War II. He also started his TV Ministry in 1960 on WLOS of which it continues today.
