JP serves as the Associate Pastor of Family & Students. He is a graduate of Charleston Southern University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Originally from Charleston, JP has served in student and family ministry for almost 20 years across the Carolinas. JP and his wife, Rebecca, have three children, and they love being part of the Ashley River community. As a family, they enjoy a good day at the beach, fishing, game nights, and frequenting any restaurant with shrimp and grits on the menu.
His prayer for the families of Ashley River is that they would experience the transforming love of Christ and live as faithful witnesses for Him in Charleston and beyond. He is passionate about helping the next generation know, love, and follow Jesus by equipping parents and coming alongside families in their walk with Christ.
