Dr. Charles Franklin Billington (1927- 2010 ) was the Pastor, Akron Baptist Temple, Akron, Ohio, who succeeded his father, Dr. Dallas F. Billington, upon his death in August 1972. Dr. Charles was senior pastor from 1972-1996. The Baptist Temple held the designation of the 'World's Largest Sunday School' in the late 1960s with a membership of over 17,000.
