Wade Huntley

He pastored Holly Springs Baptist Church of Rutherfordton, NC for 59 years. He was a U S Navy veteran of WW II. Wade attended North Greenville Junior College from 1952 to 1955 and was a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute class of 1960. He was also the pastor of Broad River Baptist Church in Henderson County prior to coming to Holly Springs.

Wade was a member of the North Carolina Walking Horseman's association. He loved horses and his favorite was "Double Overtime" who attained the status of Top Ten Champion for the Years 2011 and 2012 for the Amateur 50 and Over Division according to Walking Horse Reports.
