Peggy Farnell

Peggy Farnell is the wife of Charlie Farnell and mother of five adult children, all of whom are married. She is also a proud grandma of twenty-three grandchildren and great-grandmother of fifteen—a legacy that brings her great joy.

In October 2025, after receiving a seemingly devastating diagnosis of metastatic cancer throughout her body, Peggy experienced the grace of God powerfully at work in her life. Filled with an overwhelming peace and joy in the Lord, she became eager for everyone to know of God’s love and to hear her testimony of His peace that surpasses all understanding in the midst of a terminal diagnosis.

With a new passion and boldness, Peggy has been sharing her story with friends, family, and even strangers—inviting all to witness the powerful transformation that God has brought about in her heart. Ready to meet her Savior face-to-face, she is seeking to live out each day the Lord gives her with purpose, pursuit, and passion.

Her resounding declaration remains: “Because of Jesus, it is well with my soul.”
