Russ Rice

Russ W. Rice has devoted over three decades to lay ministry, serving with unwavering commitment in various theological and pastoral roles. He earned his theological training at The Master’s Seminary and had the distinguished honor of serving on the staff at Grace Community Church in Los Angeles under the leadership of Dr. John MacArthur. During his time there, Russ contributed to Grace to You, personally handling correspondence on behalf of Dr. MacArthur, fostering meaningful connections with the ministry’s global audience.

Driven by a passion for faithful biblical exposition, Russ co-founded the Martyn Lloyd-Jones Trust (MLJ Trust) alongside Phil Johnson. This ministry is dedicated to preserving and disseminating the timeless sermons of Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, making them accessible to a new generation of believers.

Beyond his ministry leadership, Russ is an accomplished author, having written several books and study guides on Christian living and theology, offering practical and biblically grounded insights to readers. He is currently an active member of the Reformed Baptist Church of McKinney, Texas, where he continues to serve, teach, and enrich the church community with his wisdom and dedication.
