Tobin Lehman

By His tender mercy, the Lord saved me from a life of sin at age 30. Having lived a life of selfishness, sin, and worldly pleasures, I was not aware of His grace that would pluck me out of death into a new life in Him. Through a series of providential events, I found myself one Sunday sitting in a church, hearing for the first time the message that would change my life, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From that day forward, I started reading the Bible, attending church, and accepted the Lord as my savior within a few weeks and was baptized.

Little did I know the Lord had just begun His work in me. He showed me how he owned everything (Deut. 10:14-17) and my life, my marriage, my business, and my children, were all gifts from him to be stewarded for His glory. This radically changed my heart and purpose in life, to serve Him in everything (Col. 3:23). I was a new man in Christ, by faith alone. My lovely wife Jen, was saved in the months following bringing additional joy to our lives together in Christ. My wife and I have been blessed with six children, Rhys, Kathryn, Elisabeth, Jacob, Lucy, and Frances.

In late 2019, the Lord started laying on my heart the question of my future in business, and His plans for me. My heart already loved serving Him, and He had given me many good gifts for success in business. But now, I discerned that he was calling me to serve Him in the ministry with life. I enrolled at Bob Jones Seminary in the Fall of 2020 and began the journey that led me to exit a 15-year stint as a business owner in a fast-growing business, to join the pastoral staff at Calvary Baptist Church in the Spring of 2024.
