Ted Salley

Ted is an elder at GCC. Ted grew up in Waco. He has been married for 30 years to his wife Christy, and they have two adult boys, Clayton and Parker, a beautiful daughter in law Leah, and a precious grandbaby boy, Simeon. Ted is a graduate of Tarleton State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration and also a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. Ted has been a pastor and has been involved with church planting. Ted’s passion is for teaching and loves leading others through books of the bible verse by verse. Ted and Christy joined GCC in April 2022 and he became an elder in 2024. They love the church body at GCC and the family bond that is created among its members. Ted enjoys playing golf and he and Christy love to travel and spend time with family and friends.
