Caleb Schaaf
20 Sermons
Caleb’s family has deep roots in Colorado. His father’s family is from Durango, and his mother’s family is from the Craig area. He grew up hiking, hunting, and fishing in the Sangre de Cristo mountains and the Routt National Forest north of Craig.
Caleb’s father is a pastor, as were both of his grandfathers. Caleb has served as an assistant pastor or intern in Utah, Nevada, South Carolina, and Colorado.
Before going into the ministry, Caleb worked for the US Department of the Interior, TD Bank, and held various odd jobs throughout his college and high-school years. Now, as a pastor, Caleb has always been bi-vocational. While serving as an assistant pastor, he worked for five years as a camp director in central Utah, and he has been an Air Force Chaplain since 2023, serving first in the Utah Air National Guard and then transferring to the Colorado Air National Guard.
Caleb holds a bachelor’s degree in Bible, an MA in Theology. He also holds an MDiv from Maranatha Baptist Seminary. He still loves hiking, fishing, and hunting outdoors, but he’s added to that combat sports (both kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), and has recently started lifting in the gym.
More than anything, he loves sharing the good news of Jesus – that no matter where you’re from or what’s in your past, Jesus can and will forgive if you’ll turn to him in faith.
