Jared Dean

Reverend Jared Dean serves as Assistant Pastor of Family Ministry at Liberty Church PCA. He holds an Associate of Arts in criminal justice from Carroll Community College (2007) and a Bachelor of Theology from Metro Baltimore Seminary (2022). He was ordained to the ministry of Word and sacrament in April 2025.
Rev. Dean previously served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps as a rifleman, leaving the service in November 2013 at the rank of Sergeant. He has served as a police officer with the Howard County Police Department since January 2009 and has served as a chaplain for the department since December 2022.
Jared and his wife Kristin have been married since September 2008, and they have three daughters. In his free time, Jared enjoys bowhunting, fishing, mountain biking, and reading.
