John William Crawford

John William is the primary preaching pastor of The Way Church in Athens, Alabama. Prior to receiving a call to serve this congregation, he served on various pastoral staffs in Alabama and Tennessee. John William received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Spurgeon College and a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. He is currently pursuing a Master of Theology in Historical and Systematic Theology from Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary in Owensboro, KY. He, also, serves as the Upper Bible Teacher at Decatur Heritage Christian Academy, teaching Old Testament, New Testament, and Systematic Theology.
His wife, Gracie, is his greatest earthly joy. Together, they are the parents of John Charles and Evangeline.
