Dave Cox II

Dave was raised in northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Growing up in a Roman Catholic tradition, he respected the Bible but did not understand the gospel. This began to change in the early 1980s while attending a local church in his town. After much wrestling with God and feeling great guilt and shame, he bowed the knee to Christ. He enrolled at Moody Bible Institute. There that he met Julie, and they were married in 1991. He received a B.A. in International Ministries from Moody in 1996. Dave’s conviction toward Reformed Theology began in 1989 with a series by Dr. R. C. Sproul on the Holiness of God. Suddenly it seemed that God was so much greater than he had thought. Later on, such issues as the openness of God heresy drove him to pursue a greater theological precision. Dave and his wife have 3 adult children.
