Jason Montgomery

What a joy it is for me to serve as the pastor of Faith Community Baptist Church and now as co-elder at Christ Covenant RBC.
I did my graduate work at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary receiving in 1997 a Master of Divinity degree in which I focused on Biblical languages, primarily New Testament Greek.

In December of 2018, I graduated from Southwestern again with a PhD in Historical Theology/Church History with a focus in Baptist studies, and did my dissertation on English Particular Baptist pastor Benjamin Beddome. I also serve as Adjunct Professor of Church History at IRBS Theological Seminary in Mansfield, TX.

I have been blessed in marriage for over 30 years with my wife, Janice. We have seven wonderful and very busy children: Timothy (Austin, TX @ UT), Katie along with our son-in-law Jacob (Colorado), Nathan (Georgia), and Benjamin, Abigail, Averie, and Bethany still here at home.
