Gary Morris

Gary Morris is a "missionary nerd." Although his Bachelor's degree from Michigan State is in Economics, his 30-year career with the Internal Revenue Service centered on applications of advanced computer science; he was Chief of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in IRS' Research Division. God called him to retire from federal service, return to Penn, and complete his PhD in Artificial Intelligence; his dissertation topic is a problem for Wycliffe Bible Translators. He hopes to graduate in 2007, and has no idea what God has for him next. Gary lives in Philadelphia with his wife Vikki, who is an employee at Penn and pursuing a degree in Art History. They are members of Tenth Presbyterian Church.
