Lonnie Polson

Lonnie Polson has served as the Pastor for Teaching and Preaching at White Oak Baptist Church of Greenville, SC since 2019. From 2005 to 2016, Lonnie pastored Community Bible Church of Holly Springs, a church-planting work near Spartanburg, South Carolina. Lonnie holds a bachelor’s degree in performance studies, master’s degrees in Bible, communication, and education, and a doctorate in educational administration. Lonnie is former chair of the Division of Communication at Bob Jones University, where he has served as a faculty member since 1978. Lonnie and his wife, Margaret have two married daughters and four grandchildren. Lonnie’s passion is to help people become fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
