New Heavens and a New Earth

The greater future renewal of the worship of the people of God was assured because the Lord was creating new heavens and a new earth (65:17–25). There are proofs in the text as to why we argue that God is now creating this new reality and what is reveal here. Although a present reality, it is presented in the text in an exaggerated form for emphasis.

We are presently in this "new economy" (Hebrews 2:5) due to the successful work of the Second Adam and the subjection of all things under His feet (Hebrews 2:6–8; citing Psalm 8:4–6). He is to reign throughout this age until His second coming, when this new creation reality will be completed.
