The Dangers of Homosexuality

Mankind has sought to completely justify its sin since the Garden of Eden. Once a society begins to give hearty approval to the sin of homosexuality, they have reached an extreme level of degradation. As we examine God's Word, we see that all homosexuality is an ABOMINATION. God's expectation is that a male will never lie down with another male, as he would with a female. Sexual intercourse between two males is a detestable act - the O.T. Law required their execution. Those practicing homosexuality have been ABANDONED by God because they first abandoned Him. After forsaking God, they were defiled - given over to impurity (moral uncleanness). As they persisted in their rebellion, they were dishonored - given over to degrading passions (disgraceful lusts) that are both unnatural and unhealthy. These unrighteous men have gone ASTRAY. They were totally deceived and fell into a trap - going astray. They needed to be instructed and recognize the truth - sinners are judged. But some in Corinth had been delivered from their sin by trust in Jesus Christ - homosexuals can change and be set free!
