Series 1 John
Believers should not feel alone in this word, especially in light of the three reflexive ("one another") commands to love in this text. Additionally, three reasons are given: God is love; God demonstrated His love in sending Christ as a propitiation; and God cannot be seen but has chosen to complete His love in and through us.
