The Joseph Story: An Unwanted and Unwelcome Prophet

Joseph is God's chosen son to bring salvation to Israel and the world. God's will in Joseph's exaltation as God's prince will only be realized after great suffering through which God will work out everything for His glory and His people's good. Joseph is a type of Christ; his pattern of humility then exaltation is God's pattern for all of His people.
