How God Lives

To understand these verses it is necessary to clearly distinguish between Christ's human and divine natures without separating them. Jesus was given a name above every name because of how He lived His life, which means He revealed to us how God lives. Jesus is our ultimate example and revealer of truth and everyone will confess this, either with joy or horrified terror, but everyone will acknowledge that there is no truth outside of Christ. The fact that this will take place on that final day of judgment, means that Christ's authority is already in force now and thus the wise bow their wills to His every word.
